"My husband and I rented the Lazy River Cottage to host Thanksgiving with our two kids, their spouses and our first grandson. We were there the whole week of Thanksgiving and the cottage was perfect. It’s basically a new house with three bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a loft with two single beds and a large living room. The kitchen was tight for preparing a large Thanksgiving meal, but we made it work. Even cooked a turkey sausage gumbo on Saturday while watching football! The beds weee...

There are local restaurants within a few minutes drive and more options with a 30 minute drive although there is no reason to need to leave with the fantastic kitchen and dining space. The amenities provided are what set this property apart! Every comfort we needed was available. It overlooks the Little River with a dock to fish off, big beautiful wood burning fireplace, huge kitchen, game room, 4 wonderful bedrooms. I can’t recommend this place in the mountains near the river and state parks enough. I highly recommend!! "
