"Started out rough the room they gave me initially was still in use and I went down to the told them what happened and with in five minutes they had a new room for that was upgraded free of charge. The professionalism of the staff and quickness to fix the mix up made it a very minor bump in the road. "

"This is an older boutique hotel with no stairs to navigate. There is a lift up the rooms as well as staircases.Yes, it is a bit rundown in the carpet, but everything I needed was clean and excellent. The staff, especially Jamie and Jiorja (spelling? Sorry, women!), could not have been more helpful in terms of getting taxis, answering questions, and generally being kind. Although I didn’t eat breakfast there, I did have dinner twice at MacNabs, the attached restaurant, and it was very good. When my room was cold, Jamie brought me a room heater immediately, and it was perfect. When I thought I had lost my wallet, they both tried to help. (I hadn’t.) The location is excellent, too, because although it is over the Ness River, shopping, even for those of us with walking disabilities, was very easy. Inverness is a small city, so if I can walk it with a rollator, pretty much anyone can!"

"Perfect place to stay instead of the busyness of Inverness. Got upgraded to a nice new room and it was clean, well designed and easy to access. The short walk across the bridge into town was perfect and there were a few nice restaurants to choose from (thank you to the front desk staff for recommendations!). Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
