"This property was an absolute dream. Fantastic views of Loch Ness, walking distance to Urquhart Castle, spacious, quiet, peaceful and clean. "Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. There was space to spread out, and we loved being able to to take walks along the canal. "We were lucky enough to spend three nights at Four Winds. I really can’t think of anything else to say except it was perfect, so clean, so comfortable, so beautifully organized. Perfect location for day trips around the area. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Meet the proprietors Kirstie and Frazer, what a lovely couple always available to help as needed."

"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. "This was the perfect cottage in beautiful surroundings. It was our base for the week whilst we explored Loch Ness and other nearby towns and places. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and homely. The boating on loch Knockie was also an added bonus and enjoyed by all. Catherine was very helpful and always responded to any queries quickly. "Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "
