"Hands down, BEST place we have ever stayed. Carol is the most amazing host we've ever encountered. Always very quick to respond to any questions we had. The day we arrived, she immediately asked my 13 yr old son if he'd like to help feed the horses and off they went. The next day, she took my mom, my son and I on a tour of the property. "This is a nice little place to stay on the water at Lake James. We did have a few issues with the place. The bathroom fan worked sometimes, but mostly not. The sliding glass door to the kitchen is very hard to lock. This needs attention."

I don’t think the listing pictures do justice to what a lovely cabin and surrounding area this property is! "The cabin was extremely clean and appeared well cared for. The shower is exceptionally small for my husband (6’3” 200lbs) height wise great but width not big enough for him. We were there for 2 nights quiet and peaceful. Towels were nice soft and big. We were there for a wedding at Hiddenview perfect location and space to get ready a dressing table outside of the bathroom. Only issue was internet. Basically for us it never worked. "

"This is a beautiful place! We stayed at here 5 nights with a group of extended family ranging in age from 1 to 79 and everyone had a great time. The accommodations were top notch.
