"Like many Fairmont properties in Canada, this is an historic hotel in Victoria, located right in the centre of town. To start with the positive, the restaurants in the hotel were wonderful, with great food and really first class service. I very highly recommend the afternoon tea, which is well worth the high price! "The best part about this stay was the hotel location. It was right downtown near several restaurants and shopping, and walking distance to the waterfront. The interior was somewhat antique but appealing. The entry smells like a bar but that's because it's adjacent to one. The room was a bit cramped and shower area was unique.
