"Charming, if a bit odd. It clearly wasn’t designed to be a hotel. My room was very large and comfortable. The shower is big and luxurious. I didn’t dine in the restaurant but got a croissant to take out. It was made in house and remarkably good. I wish I’d had a meal in the restaurant. Try to avoid a run in the back side of the hotel, especially on the lower floors. There’s noise and the trash dumpster every morning around 5:30, especially on Thursday when the trash trucks arrived. "

"Short overnight stay to see a show at the Fox Theater. Nice location with easy parking. Our king room was comfortable, although layout was "unique". I would stay here again when visiting Detroit. "

"This was a last minute overnight trip for me and my fiancée. The decor and aesthetics of the hotel are incredible. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Rooftop bar Kampers is a must. Only gripe I had was right at 11am as we were leaving the room the hospitality staff were stood in the doorway, felt rushed but I get it. They have to prep the room for the next person. All in all a very good hotel and a pleasant stay. Will book again. "
