Rooms are old and rather small but you can tell they continue to update things so that everything works, is stylish and sufficient for your stay. We waited 45 min in line to check in, multiple parties had issues as the hotel seems confused about amounts to charge if you are a hotels.com customer. "If you're taking a short trip to Detroit this is the perfect place to go. It's not a 5 star hotel but it gets the job done. Besides, who goes to a new city to just sit inside all day? The hotel even has a shuttle that runs on the weekends taking people to and from downtown. Ken was great and even shared some tips and places to go downtown. Good place and safe part of the city. "
