"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. "We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. "

"Could not wish for more. Lovely village, perfect old world setting and just a few miles from the main road. An historic pub that matches it's promise in every way. Very friendly staff and welcoming locals. Nice choices at breakfast too. "

"We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided. We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value. Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming. Full of character "

"We stayed here one night, we will be back we loved it, lovely clean tidy room, homely, not kneen that dogs could stay in our room I'm very fussy! We had an evening meal the food was excellent a sunday roast very very homemade and very tasty, some nice pubs around the street to check out too."

"We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "
