It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."

"The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "

"A very peaceful location in a village about a mile away from the coast. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped for four people. The cottage is nestled between the pub and the church so could not be more central. As others have noted, the only thing missing is a shower attachment in the bathroom, but everything else was so ideal it would not stop us booking again."

"We booked the cottage near to my partners work for his 40th, it was a perfect location. Hot tub was amazing and main bedroom was more than we could wish for in a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed. Would recommend for those who love an adventure on the coastal paths although they are steep. We will def love to visit again"
