It was absolutely marvellous. The Manager ‘Charlie’ was amazing, so knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and area. The staff were amazing the bar and restaurant were great. "Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. Great breakfast too and such reasonable pricing. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Conveniently close to The Robin for our gig. Glad to have found this hotel and will definitely be returning."
