"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."

"Really nice place to stay. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice little shared garden and small pool, as well as covered patio in the top floor. We really liked staying here. The hosts were very kind and made tasty breakfast. I got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant next door and our host kindly me made a delicious soup the next day to help me feel better. Lots of highway traffic noise, but with the window closed it’s quiet."

"What a wonderful experience at this ecoresort. Definitely not like any other hotel experience. Good signage from the road so easily visible for our cab driver (one hour from Santa Marta). Takes a few minutes to walk into the resort (down a path, across a creek). The staff were all extremely friendly! The dinner was great (simple but super fresh, well cooked, nicely seasoned). "I have no idea how this place has any positive reviews. Easily the worst stay after traveling for 5 weeks in Colombia. Pool was empty and just had a bit of dirty water in bottom despite a promise it would be filled, power was off for most of the 3 days we stayed - they have a backup generator which was only turned on when staff wanted to watch TV or cook, this made the room unbearably hot and in darkness. "The stay at Tribe was the best stay we‘ve had in Colombia! Especially the familiar atmosphere at Tribe with the two owners being very kind and attentive was unbeatable! Alejandro even gave us a workshop about the Colombian culture which was very interesting.
