"The location is superb right on the water. The house is lovely and had everything we needed! We had a slight issue gaining access, but the host was very responsive and helpful, so it was resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend and stay again, our toddler didn't want to leave!"

"Dove Cottage was a great find. Was looking for dog friendly accommodation close by to Druridge Bay for a race that weekend and this was perfect. "We were a multi family and the house was great! Room and privacy for the 6 of us. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. It is an older home but very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The views of the river and North Sea were beautiful. The house is a short walk to the Main Street where there are many restaurants and pubs. The house is in a quiet area We would stay again"

"Property was brilliant area excellent as I know it well being from Walker originally.Could not fault the cottage apart from the obviously inflated price for Sam Fender concert. As a Geordie this didn't go down too well. A must if you are a visitor to the area as it is set in an idyllic and central area for almost everything worth visiting in Newcastle area and beyond."
