"Well what a great start to our little Tasmanian holiday greeted by Paul who was so friendly and explained the history of this amazing house due to my jaw dropping over the beautiful condition of this little old gem totally renovated by him and his partner Brenden, after been shown through to our rooms Paul gave us some suggestions for dinner in Devonport and then booked us in to a beautiful restaurant with some amazing food only minutes away. We explained to Paul and Brenden that we may have to miss our first breakfast due to an early start the next morning and then Brenden insisted he would start breakfast early to make sure we travelled with a full belly its little things like this that really made our stay. The breakfast is just top class like everything in this beautiful piece of Devonport our only complaint was that we will be comparing The Grand on Macfie with other places we stay and we did and they rate the best by far.....do yourself a favour and be spoilt by two friendly owners Paul and Brenden and I would love to see some ongoing renovation photos after you complete your high tea room thanks again my friends we will be back."
