We stayed here for 1 night as it was quite late when we arrived off the ferry. Great little hotel and staff were very helpful and even carried our bags upstairs as there was no lift. Also kitchen had closed by the time we arrived. Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Parking was around the back. Enjoyed our stay here.

Cheap Saturday night accommodation for spirit of Tasmania ferry - pub with parties on! Room fine, even a full bath - kitchen smells floating upstairs. THE FORMBY HOTEL is now known as THE CENTRAL!

Hotel ideally situated for stopping overnight when arriving late on the ferry, rooms all upstairs but comfortable, a fair bit of noise especially from other guests talking loudly when heading to their rooms and when congregating in the common room. Reasonably priced, excellent food in the restaurant.
