"Fabulous spa and great food."

"It's a lovely hotel we have stayed before in both the main house and the outbuildings. Plenty of parking and beautiful views. Food and breakfast were nice. The main menu for dinner has changed since our last stay which I believe was the previous July. Personally we preferred the old menu we didn't feel the options were as good this time but that may just be down to personal preference. "

"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "The Hat het is a loverly picturesque pub/ hotel. Welcome excellent, food and ambiance perfect. VFM good. The thing that let it down was cleanliness of the room- smeared bathroom mirror looked like it was cleaned with a soiled cloth ( had to clean it to see any reflection!) the toilet rim covered in hair & dust & the lamp shades & corners of the room rife with cobwebs. We did enjoy our stay however and we did report the room dissatisfaction to the young service lady but no apology or explanation...

"We had a very comfortable stay at the Kings Arms. A lovely old inn in a pretty village near Bath. Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. "
