"It’s close to the charming town of Stellenbosch, and has lovely gardens. The rooms upstairs are small and somewhat dark due to the thatch, but they are good value and are in the main house which dates from the 1700’s. There’s no access to indoors common areas in the house though. No pool but great play area for kids! The cafe is darling tho outside so it’s best to come Dec til end March! "

"We had a fantastic stay at The Devon Valley Hotel. It offers a serene escape with stunning vineyard views and the Helderberg Mountains as a backdrop. Our room, although small, was elegantly furnished and had a spacious shower room. The staff provided warm hospitality and the food/wine was exceptional. The secluded outdoor pool and beautiful gardens were fantastic too, and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day cycling around wineries. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay."

"This is a great property as it has a range of stay options plus a separate place for day visitors who want to do a game drive. The 'tent' was quite luxurious and game drives informative and exciting. i liked the option to pay what you use and not just an 'all inclusive' which is better value for people who don't eat and drink huge amounts. Fully recommend. "

"Amazing service - great location - dine at Azure at sunset (or cocktails at the Leopard Bar) for an awesome experience. Lulu the courtesy shuttle driver was so friendly and helpful - the shuttle stops every hour at camps bay and V&A Waterfront and makes sure you get picked up at the end of the night. The concierge is also good for organising a driver for excursions. Highly recommended and we will be back "

Great overnight and half day here.

"We stayed overnight and paid for the next day until 6pm. Very comfortable, convenient location, great shuttle service. We enjoyed the hotel facilities. Absolutely incredible breakfast buffet! Pancakes, eggs to order, espresso machine, pastries, etc. Nice bar area. I used the spa for a facial. Only had one problem. The air con was set for 26C and we were uncomfortably hot. We were offered another room but it also had the same problem. The staff were really invested in making us happy and furnished two small fans - which really helped."

"Amazing and very helpful staff at concierge and at breakfast. The breakfast buffet was substantial, plus a bonus ordered meal with your included breakfast option. Friendly and safe hotel, with a great bar, pool and gym area as well. Easy to walk to the V&A Waterfront and close to most tourist destinations. Would highly recommend. "
