"Not a great facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it has a good vibe. But the pool is right outside your front door and it is kind of odd. Not a well designed place, but the friendliness of the staff mostly overcome that, at least for a night or two."

Many time you didn’t see them used for more than half the day, just towels sitting on them. Sounds like that’s the way most resorts are but it’s still annoying. "

We used amstar for all our excursions and it was great having them right on the resort for questions and confirmations! Activities were fun and unique! Only thing I would say is I wish there was more seating near sugar bar for after dinner drinks!"

"I somehow didn't realize the hotel was eco-friendly when I booked, so I got nervous when they said there was no AC. It turned out to be totally fine because the beach side is so breezy it stays cool and relatively bug-free. The restaurant service and food was good. The beach view was lovely, and easily accessible."
