"I stayed at the hotel with my girlfriend at the time. We both enjoyed the ocean view and the overall ambiance of the resort. We had a meal plan which included breakfast. The breakfast was good. I felt so comfortable at the hotel that I proposed to my girlfriend in our room. We are now married and plan on visiting Tobago and staying at Tropikist Beach and Hotel Resort again!"

"Overall, we had a great experience with a variety of dining and a lovely environment. The only thing reason for not saying it was excellent is for something beyond the control of the management - the natural sargassum bloom around the east coast tends to give a pungent scent. However, the hotel seems to be able to reduce the odor indoors."
