"Lovely unique hotel. Staff and facilities are great too. We didn't need the car to go anywhere all weekend and we had two small children. Walkable to the castle and lovely surroundings."

"Enjoyed our 2 night stay at Marsden's. Spacious room, very clean & comfortable. Good shower, plenty hot water. Coffee, tea provided in the room. Our meal at Marsden's restaurant was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff ensured our visit was comfortable. Good access to buses which we used to & from Stirling. Nice quiet location close to motorway. "

"My partner and I needed a place to stay on our way up north, and since he grew up near the Hydro, we decided to give it a go. What a good shout! From DoubleTree's classic, warm cookies to the spaciousness of the room, we felt at home and comfortable. The Hydro also oozes Victorian charm and boasts stunning views of the surrounding area. What's not to love? It's actually a shame we didn't stay longer. We're keen to return, especially to try The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. My only issue is that the room door allowed a lot of noise through which was a slight disturbance."
