"Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!"

"One of the single beds a child was sleeping in made a loud creaking noise as if floor uneven/ and rocking. Toilet did not flush easily or not at all at times. Spacious room. Seemed to be quite a few children running and calling between 9.50pm and 11pm. However staff at breakfast very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast selection. Good blackout window dressings. Friendly hotel with excellent warm pool and changing facilities. Pleasant grounds. "

"This hotel is well situated on the main road going through Helensburgh. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel also has a restaurant. Parking is free, in the large leisure centre car park across the road. The only negative for me was the hotel does not offer a cooked breakfast, which is surprising as it has a restaurant built into it. The continental breakfast appeared to be your average hotel continental breakfast. Staff were friendly."
