"Lovely gardens. Excellent menu at the White Hart and a great cafe at the Green Table. Very comfortable and clean room with en suite. The courtyard and buildings were historically very interesting. We were thee to attend a funeral and so our experience at Dartington Hall was a lovely surprise. Lovely staff at check-in and in the restaurants. "

"Idyllic setting! Very good food. Friendly staff. I had a budget room which was about adequate. TV was so small it couldn’t be watched from bed. There was a motor running intermittently during the night and that was more disturbing because of the otherwise rural silence perhaps with the chuckle of the tributary of the Dart outside my window. "

"The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. "

"Great hotel. Top tip - follow the hotel’s instructions on driving to the hotel. We followed our satnav / GPS and ended up in “the lanes” which are scary narrow roads. The walks from the hotel are stunning along the coastline. Dinner a bit pricey. "
