"We had a lovely 3 day stay at Soar Mill Cove. The food is outstanding, really delicious. Breakfast was great, lots of attention to detail like homemade jams. We ended up having dinner there twice and a couple of cream teas as it was so good. Lounge area is great with the sea view, we enjoyed playing board games there. "On first arrival the cottage was lovely; a bit quirky but looked as if it would meet our needs. However, considering the cottage slept quite at least 8 adults there wasn’t enough seating in the TV room to accommodate that many. The TV did not have BBC channels so we couldn’t watch Strictly on the Saturday! A smart TV would be better as many people have subscriptions to streaming services. Also the TV in the big bedroom but want connect by aerial; there was an aerial but it was too short to reach...

"Perfect property for our family holiday. Ideal size and didn't feel like we were ever ontop of each other, apart from maybe in the kitchen. The walk up amd down the hill was a but much for both mithers in their 70's. "

"Beautiful and very spacious apartment, just in front of the beach, with great views and a lovely terrace. Everything was perfect. The owners had even welcomed us with brownies and scones/jam/cream - very thoughtful. The property is an a beautiful place, just across the beach, 10 min away from Salcombe either by car or by boat. We preferred South Sands to Salcombe itself. Lovely coastal walks nearby as well."
