"Upon arrival, I was given a room upgrade. Staff were friendly and addressed all questions enthusiastically. The room was spacious, a little worn with age, the safe did not function, the hallway carpeting from stairs to the room was a little dirty. On other floors, the carpets looked fine. The lobby had numerous sitting rooms which were quite nice. The hotel location was sufficient to hit all local tourist areas by foot (required a bit of walking). "Outstanding hotel. Rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and most importantly they care about your comfort during your stay and go out of their way for you. The rooftop bar and food service were excellent. Food and drinks were great. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Florence."

"We just stayed here for the start of our honeymoon. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a bottle of champagne, and accommodated everything that we needed. They greeted us everytime we were in the lobby. I wish i could leave a 10 star rating!! Thank you so very much. We highly recommend this hotel and will be telling all of our friends for when they visit Florence. Thank you!"
