"It's a lovely place with elegant rooms but most importantly, some very professional staff supporting our stay. The spa facilities were immaculate and really added to our winter break. Only gripe on this recent occasion was that our check-in was delayed, but the offers of free drinks and looking after our luggage meant that it wasn't such an issue so no stars are dropped."

"This place was perfect!! It is very close to the train station and very close to the grocery store! The staff was so amazing and very helpful!! The food at the restaurant in the hotel was so good! The rooms were very clean and everything it felt very safe because you have to scan your room key to get to your specific floor and then scan your room key again to get into the hallway of your hotel room!! 10/10 and will most definitely be staying with Volkshotel on my next trip to Amsterdam and would...

"Old building that is converted into a hotel. Beautifully done. The W has actually two buildings. If you stay at one building and want to use the gym or pool, you have to cross the street. It's a very small street so it is actually charming rather than annoying. Pool and spa are GORGEOUS. I also stayed at the W in Barcelona but this one is definitely more impressive. THey also had a cool lounge on top of the building."
