"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. "Older property. Some sections renovated well, others not so much. The staff met were exceptionally professional and polite. Meals were mediocre but breakfast and dinner were included with the room fee. Facilities (bath areas) were not opened during times advertised on some days, they were open when tour groups were at the hotel (my stay was not part of a tour). Not a bad experience but not a great value for the price paid. "

"Although the building is old, but overall it is still decent and comfortable to live in. For me personally, a unique experience is that this hotel provides free dinner for its guests. Unfortunately maintenance still needs to be improved.
