"Front desk woman was highly hostile. Still not sure why and she charged my card for $50 extra once we left for Smoking! We don't smoke and had used an incense the day we moved, (honestly out of respect since one trash bag contained a diaper)and I even argued I had the incense (which was seen) and receipts! Still got charged $50 for absolutely no reason but that, I guess, she could. Had a horrible attitude from the moment we met."

"Staying at the American Inn was really nice and very convenient. I appreciated the price immensely and the ease of booking it. However, I would encourage the facility to ensure guests know about alternative parking options. It was pretty hard to figure out what to do other than to park at the very small lot that the hotel had. So if there could be information given to people about where they can park overnight or even a deal with the Bethesda Hotel that guests can park there at a different rate...
