"It was fine for an overnight stay for one person. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere. The good news it that it is part of a truck stop. It was quiet. If you wanted access to a market and gas, it would be good. The room was fine. The only odd thing was the bed was big enough for two people but there was only one comforter that was not long enough if you are tall. There were two negative surprises. The first had nothing to do with the hotel. It is a flat rate of 40 Euros if...

"The hotel was closed on arrival at 10:02 p.m. ... after a long discussion we were checked in .... they informed us that they had no telephone number from us and therefore could not contact us beforehand ... a joke! The double room was clearly too expensive for the price of 131 euros plus an additional 4.50 euros tourist tax without breakfast for 2 nights ... smelled of mold and was cold on arrival. "We always look for historic buildings to stay in and were very impressed with the adaptive reuse of this monastery. The room was very comfortable and attractively furnished. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant provided a good dinner and excellent breakfast buffet. "
