"Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. Overall we enjoyed...

"When I arrived, I was greeted by two dogs, best welcoming committee ever. Abby was very helpful at the front desk, and she walked me and showed me to my room. A service from the past. I walk to a beautiful view of the harbor."

"The property would get a 5 star rating but sadly my room was next to the kitchen and early morning noise 6am can be heard and then tonight I can here loud music along with the general kitchen noise as my hearing is bad I can only assume anyone with normal hearing will be disturbed more than myself in this room."
