"Our host was exemplary in showing us the local area. We had a deeply moving experience at both Kataragama and Tissamaharama. Pradath is an excellent resource for All things Sri Lanka. The accommodations are first rate. Big comfortable bed. Modern shower and tub. A/C and Wi-fi work great. Excellent meals prepared. It is the perfect spot to retreat in the evening. We heartily recommend it and will hopefully return. "

It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. "I booked my cabana several months in advance. When I arrived the hotel was closed for renovations and they had forgotten to inform me. So at 6pm I needed to try and find another hotel in peak season. I ended up pay having to pay double the price for a new hotel of a similar standard. Plus the expense of data on my phone to find it. Plus the time driving round to look at other hotels. No compensation from the hotel or even a written apology. They offered to let me stay in a cabana but I didn’t...
