"We enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. We did the stargazing with Kasun. We saw the moon and Saturn and enjoyed the view and the discussion with Kasun. Glad we did this activity! We also went on a nature walk with Gayan Gamage on the 16th of october 2024, and it was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and knew a lot about the nature and the tracking of the animals. It was very interesting, and we saw a lot of the local animals. We hightly recommend this to anyone who likes the nature...

"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. "Overall a cool experience, we stayed in the sky nest. It is important to know that the road getting to resort is very very rough, essentially off-roading in a jeep, maybe even worse than safari. I wouldn’t recommend older adults or young children or anyone with a disability. The resort had kind staff, great evening bbq and early morning safari packed breakfast. Our only negative was that the safari guide booked through them was not good, of note he was not their usual safari guide on staff. We...

"Absolutely loved staying here and definitely would recommend this hotel to all. A real gem! Outstanding service by all staff. Stunning decor throughout the hotel/resort. Beautifully designed rooms that are comfortable. Great sleep. They even have an elevator for guests to go one floor up. Lots of open indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in. Beautiful pool, and beach area. Great food. Even have gluten-free sugar-free options and are very flexible with your desired meal plans. They even surprised me with a gluten free/sugar free birthday cake. Only stayed for 3 nights but had the best relaxing experience. The staff and manager are all wonderful and treat you like family. Definitely would love to come back here in the future and don’t miss your opportunity when choosing hotels - stay here and have a fantastic vacation."
