This place is called sunset beach for a reason. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen here all summer long. In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks.

This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. If there is any wave at all there will definitely be surfers out in the water. #goldenhour

"Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. "

"The pictures do not convey how beautiful this place is. It has been renovated and modernized and was a pleasure to stay at. You need to take a taxi to get here from the train station, but it is well worth the extra drive. Spotlessly clean. The designer did an impeccable job, with every detail taken into account. "Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route.There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost.
