"Because of my wife being unwell, we spent much more time in the hotel room than intended. What a good job that this was one of the best rooms we have stayed in, half the price of London rooms for double the size. We were aware of the announcements from Lime Street station, but given we were on the 5th floor, it was back ground noise. "We stayed here for an overnighter after a gig at the O2. The room did exactly what it said on the tin! Small but plenty room for the 2 of us. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The hotel was situated so that we only had a short stroll before reaching the beautiful town centre. So for location it was excellent, however, for myself personally, the hotel was far too noisy. We had to ask to move rooms as our first room was located on the front, which was next to an extremely busy, noisy road. We were then moved to the back, which was slightly better but still was lots of noise, trains going by, workmen making loud noise, a dull humming noise. I didn’t really get much sleep...

"Had slight issue with lighting in the room. Kept flickering off and on, did stop after a couple of hours though. Only other issue was the heating not working. Other than that it was very pleasant."
