"Had a lovely 2 night stay in a twin courtyard room.Beautiful setting and the Manor is full of character charm. Reception staff very welcoming,as were other staff around the property.Would stay here again."

"Lovely room and grounds. Only slight quibbles would be the shower (very close to the wall making it difficult to get fully under and not very powerful) and breakfast (could have been hotter). But overall nice place."

"Overall it was good and enjoyable 3 night stay, on the downside there was no mention of the swimming pool being closed for the 4 days we were there and definitely no mention on the website that 3rd fix building work was taking place until we had booked and paid, then we were informed. Very sneaky Marriot! Overall though, really nice hotel for the money and very nice rooms indeed.."

"Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as it’s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they don’t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer."
