"Perfect for an early flight. So close to the terminal. Lovely large atrium as you enter. Very stylish. Wish we could have made more use of the facilities but we arrived late and departed very early. Only slight negative was a very slow running drain in the shower. Room was very pleasant, quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Good facilities in the room. (Tea, coffee, iron, toiletries) overall, agreat stay."

"Good stay here again - breakfast was hotter this time which was appreciated. Room comfortable and shower was good. I don't appreciate being charged £8 for parking which was previously free, but overall it's still an OK hotel for a business one-nighter."

"Claire - Reception Desk made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door, she made my birthday special by taking care of the car park fees and gave me a complimentary gift for my birthday. The surroundings are clean and elegant. The bedroom was very clean, spacious and quiet. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the dinner menu is limited, needs to offer more options for vegans, vegetarians and pescaterians. "We had a fantastic time at Downhall, which is a beautiful property with lovely grounds. A big thank you to every single member of staff that we came across, as everyone was friendly and helpful. But a massive thank you to the lady (duty manager) who helped my family . She changed rooms for us, upgraded some of the rooms, so our 5rooms would be close to one another. Can’t wait to go back👍"
