"Stayed in a twin room with sea view. Most desirable location where you can watch and listen to the ocean even lying in bed. Food and the drinks were excellent, staff are professional,warm, polite and helpful. Rooms are clean. Windows are openable for fresh air. Will try the beauty treatment next time, car park is big and next to the hotel. Promenade just outsider the door. Only wish if the bathroom and the room were bigger but it is a former “Grand hotel” I think so structure of the bedroom is...

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. "
