"The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. The rooms were nicely decorated in local crafts and fresh local flowers. I enjoyed watching the exotic birds from the sheltered decks. The food was great, too! "

"Receipt from Expedia stated ' check in open 10 am onwards'. Arrived by taxi at 10. Whole place locked up and deserted with sign saying ' back at six'. Found another hotel but el ray was very resistant to refund. Tried hard to keep my money only gave in after heavy pressure from Expedia customer service. In addition hotel is bizarrely located out in a suburban street near to absolutely no amenities....all things considered ASTONISHED this place still in business "
