"We had a great 3 nights in Santa Elena. The home was perfect for us, three teenage boys, my husband and I. Katia had great communication, made excellent recommendations for some fun adventures while we were there. Consuelo cooked us a delicious Christmas dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal, eating on the veranda with a beautiful view overlooking the hills. So pretty! The home is a great location for adventures around San Ignacio and an excellent place to retreat to after a busy day....

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our 4 nights at Gumbo Limbo. It’s a nature-lovers paradise, but so much more. Our honeymoon cabana was spacious with a comfortable bed and linens to die for…the bathroom was large and everything was well-appointed and clean. It was luxury jungle living without any pretentiousness. The grounds and pool area are truly exquisite— and though Christine, the host, would say there is so much more they want to do with the property, I would argue at this affordable price...

"Beautiful property, lovely experience but also not what we expected. I would consider this more of a working ranch than a resort, as we felt like it's more setup for locals to Belmopan and cowboys than it is to the average traveler. Nice food, good overall value. Kind of a strange cowboy guy who apparently owns the property who was a little overly friendly to my girlfriend out of the blue. However seems that locals love him and have good things to say. If you're up for something a bit different...
