"Wonderful place! The manager Cameron was very helpful with some business we needed done with our passports and can’t thank him enough for that because any business process can take awhile. ALL of the staff were kind and helpful and accommodating. Most of them work hard to do so. The breakfast was good and chef David will cook you an egg any way you like it. Eryricah was so kind as to ask me if my daughter who was sick in her room would like some brkfst taken to her room. She prepared it and I took it to her. How thoughtful!!! She did this several mornings. Also the pizza from the pizza bar was so good! We ended up staying here a week as our business kept extending and we were very happy with our stay. When we travel through Gaborone we will definitely stay here. Remember! If you are kind you will be treated kindly. :)"

"The warmest, friendliest lodge/hotel staff we have ever met at any place we've ever stayed and we've travelled all over the world. Everyone was so friendly and it made our stay absolutely perfect. Service was also 10 out of 10! To all the staff at River View Lodge, don't change a thing in how you do things or treat your guests. You are already doing what ever lodge and hotel around the world should be doing. You were a very big part of what made our trip to Botswana so special and we will always remember you. Before we arrived we were worried about where we would eat every night and didn't want to be stuck having to eating at the lodge if the food wasn't good. We were so impressed with the chef's food the first night we didn't even consider trying to leave the property for food. Every day we were very impressed with the food offerings and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Botswana. Absolutely delicious food at the lodge! The chef and baker are exceptionally good at what they do! Lastly, we want to thank the other person that made our safari trip in Botswana a 10/10 experience. Matthews is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and we loved exploring the park with him everyday. Matthews, thank you so much for the incredible memories you have given us! Every day that passed we enjoyed our game drives and sunset cruises with you more and more! For a smaller lodge with a more intimate experience don't hesitate to book your stay at River View Lodge.
