"Comfortable one-night stay. The room was well furnished and in decent condition, though the AC was a bit tricky. Bathroom was very modern. The hotel has a nice decor,but some areas are showing signs of age. The pool area is nice and large, but could have been a but cleaner and needs new or more modern loungers and seating options. "The property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist. The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request. The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. We put down a towel to catch the drips, but by morning the curtains (which incidently couldn't be opened) were drenched as was the towel we placed...

"We had a lovely welcome from the owner Pam, so friendly! She showed us our room and how everything worked and also gave us information about where to go for dinner. The pool looked a little cloudy but I think this would be down to the heavy thunderstorms that Gaborone was receiving. Probably not the best if you don't have your own transport - not a problem for us! Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised.
