"This property is advertised as an upscale oceanfront venue. It is anything but that. The employees were lovely - whomever owns the resort has allowed it to fall into disarray with no hot water, toilets not flushing, sliding doors not opening, no waterfront activities as advertised (tricycles, bicycles, kayaks, etc...) not available. The beach is a block away and worth the short walk. Subpar is being generous in relation to the property itself."

"The fact that our initial room was completely different than pictured was just a start. We have used HomeAway many, many times with “exceeded expectation” results but this one was a let down. On top of it all, the hotel manager and assistant manager were... let’s just go with “less than pleasant.” I’m stopping here because I could go on and on about things that were overly misrepresented on this particular outfit. On the bright side, we still had an amazing vacation and the Bahamas are still at...

"Breezes might not be Baha Mar but they make you feel special. Our stay at Breezes was comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The food was wonderful. Water is ALWAYS available with ICE. it is a little outdated but very clean. I did not run into one person who wasn’t pleasant. They work as a team. Even when leaving the busboy wasn’t there but the security guard helped with our luggage. Way to go breezes. Keep it up. We will be back. "

"Most of Grand Lucayan is closed from hurricane Mathew but you don't know this until you arrive. All guests have to stay at Lighthouse point which is nice but with not nearly as many amenities. 2 less pools , less convenient dining options, the Casino never reopened. Some of the staff, outdoor bar. Towel hut, seemed to have lost that happy, helpful, attitude, one bartender was even rude everyday. While others were their usual respectful, helpful Bahamian spirit They hours of restaurants...
