"Stayed here for a night to and was very impressed. The hotel is lovely in architecture in the main area's of the hotel, oldie victorian style (I think). My room was huge! Bathroom was Huge! Hallways were fine, a little tired but clean. Staff were incredible throughout and couldn't do enough. Views over towards Arran are beautiful and the Ayr beach promenade is on the doorstep. "

"I enjoyed the stay. The room was quiet, the bathroom was new, check in was quick, the price was very good, bar was comfortable, drinks were not expensive. Didn't have breakfast. If you are looking for romantic stay then this is not the place but i think it was good and has character."

"Room was rather small but comfortable and was extremely clean, the bathroom was lovely and had a corner bath which was excellent!! The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were lovely helpful and friendly. Food was great too. "
