"Beautiful view on the loch from our room. It was so nice to sit by the lounge fireplace after being out all day. Breakfast was a combination of off the menu and buffet. The food was good and there was lots of choices including vegetarian options. "

"Very nice en suite room. Fairly new build. Staying for couple of nights bed and breakfast. Room very nice. Some dusting had been missed on the bedside lamps. Bathroom floor looked a bit grubby. Laminate on worktop where sink is had split, possibly due to water ingress and could pose a hazard for slicing open finger/hand. Shower pressure could be better. Heater was not on when we arrived. I phoned reception and they came over 10 minutes later and showed us how to set temperature. She did...

"We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). It is incredibly beautiful, and the service is second to none. Quiet hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, the food was delicious - I really can't fault it. Worth every penny. The whole island is owned by the hotel, they have wild otters and seals - the spa was beautiful too. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again"
