"A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. It is an enormous building and can take four minutes to walk from one end to the other, usually up and down a lot of stairs! Didn't realise that rooms are only made up every three days, unless you request otherwise. Disappointing for a four star hotel. Will know in future!"

Room I checked in first was broken down - ac was making noise, bath plug was stuck and it could not come out, staff didn’t come to check waited for an hour. Then went downstairs and was moved to another room which was much nicer. "

The hot buffet was really really good, the chef kept bringing more food and replacing dishes when they'd been eaten, really recommend this hotel. Rooms were lovely, quiet and breakfast is of a great standard. "
