"This is a beautiful recently renovated property. The staff is excellent across the board. Very friendly and professional. My only issue is that a comment that was made to us (twice) that was snarky was with regards to "booking through a 3rd party" and made us feel like we were low budget when we actually paid the same rate that they listed on their website. We booked through Expedia to be efficient - not to save money."

"Really can’t find anything negative to say about the Opal Grand. I had booked a pool view room and when we arrived we were upgraded to oceanfront which was really lovely. Great location walkable to many nice restaurants and beach right across the street. Absolutely incredible service, I can’t recall a friendlier and more accommodating staff. We would most definitely stay here again if we go back to Delray which is a beautiful extremely clean town. "

"Beautiful lobby and facilities. Staff at the front desk/check in and the pool staff were more than accomodating and friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated and modern but small. Love the location - Pineapple Grove is a trendy neighborhood with lots of great shops and restaurants and good location to walk all around downtown Delray Beach. It's about a mile walk to the beach but they provide a shuttle and vouchers to get chairs at the beach. Valet parking is expensive at the hotel but we were often able to find parking on the street. Room came with a balcony which was nice but view was just of the street and townhouses next door so nothing to look at."
