"The Ashley is the most beautiful, quaint hotel in the area. We had Room 3 which was perfect for two friends. The main room had a king bed plus desk and coffee area, and a separate room with a fold out sofa! Gave us both the privacy and space we needed. PLUS had the most gorgeous veranda! It was warm enough to sit outside for a bit. The shower had so much water pressure - a treat for California girls. They offered a delicious breakfast bagel and coffee bar with sodas and waters. "The inn is adorable and quaint. It’s an old Charleston single. But if you have trouble with stairs, you wouldn’t want to book the upper rooms. The staircase is narrow and steep. Also it’s not the most quiet as it’s situated in a busy area, but no worries, just use the white noise machine they provide or bring your own personal fan like we did. "
