"Host was great to deal with and communication was quick. Very relaxing community. Has everything included which is a great plus saving trips to get necessities. House aas very clean and relaxing. Felt like you were actually at home instead of strange place. While cooking on grill outdoors, mother deer and her 2 babies came walking up to me about 10 feet away and just stayed there eating. "Lovely old home that has been nicely renovated. Beautiful kitchen and dining room with plenty of seating for everyone in both areas. Nice living room with huge TV. Beds are comfy, upstairs bathroom has a spa feel to it. We had perfect weather so that we very much enjoyed the deck. Will definitely stay here again to visit my family that lives in the area."

"Our stay was perfect! This house was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Perfect for large groups. It had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend staying here!"

"I rented this property from Keri to house some of my bridal party. The process was so easy! She made the process for staying at the hideout a breeze, and even allowed for late checkout. The house was clean, and everything about the listing was accurate. Keri was very receptive and was a great host!"

"We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday everything was clean and ready for us we swam in the pond, did a bunch of fishing (bass were biting before dark every night) we hiked to the little water fall on the property, and celebrated my daughters 13th birthday with family, had a big sea food boil enough to feed an army and made enough memories to last a life time! "I booked this stay to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday, in which she wanted nothing more than a big family reunion. It was such a beautiful property with amazing amenities. We were lucky with good weather in November to kayak on the lake. Everyone was so pleased with the stay and it was exactly what my mom wanted for her birthday. It provided us with unforgettable memories. Julia was very responsive and was an amazing host that helped with any question that I have. We will definitely be staying...

"Wonderful weekend at a wonderful property! We wanted to escape for some peace and quiet, just the 4 of us, and Blue Elk Lodge delivered! Spacious kitchen/common area, very comfortable beds and linens, and everything we could need or ask for! Only there for a few days, but enjoyed walkabouts on the property, met a very nice neighbor and ventured into Clifford and Carbondale. Would definitely return!!!!! "What a perfect weekend get away for a family wedding in Carbondale at St. Rose of Lima Church and then reception at Birchtown Wedding and Evenings, which as less than 3 miles from the house! The home is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed views on the porches of the lake and time out by the fire pit. Just lovely!"
