"Beautiful house which was secluded in the woods, very clean, cozy and spacious and great location for access to elk mountain, only downfall was the driveway was covered with ice and snow so we weren’t able to make it up with our vehicle, had to park in the street and carry everything in, the owner did warn us about this, a 4WD vehicle wouldn’t make it up due to the steepness and icy conditions, this was an inconvenience but still had a great time!"

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

"This property is very nice. Everything was updated as shown and was very comfortable. The community overall was an enjoyable place to stay. I gave 5 on cleanliness but will note the coffee carafe was not cleaned (and very clearly had been used). All I will say about communication and check in is read every single word of every single communication, because for us not all the information was the same. Some information was omitted in some places, but was given in others.I did provide screen shots...

"The cabin was great, very cute and exactly fit my needs, the owners were very accurate in information listed. The property had all of the amenities for a great stay that makes you feel just far enough from real life that you get a much needed break from daily life. The owners were very helpful and I was very happy with their care and keeping of the property in the middle of a wind and snow storm. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m going on a ski vacation to Elk Mountain....

"We had a wonderful time at Bobby’s cozy home. A 12 min drive to the mountain to ski. Perfect fit for 2 families. Lake was frozen solid and we were able to ice fish! Bobby was responsive to our questions. Thank goodness he left salt on the property. The driveway was ice and we would have been stuck without the salt. We look forward to renting the home in the summer to swim in the lake. A beautiful property. "

"We stayed here for Valentine's day "weekend" a couple weeks ago. Cabin was spotless and spacious. Everything listed in the description was accurate, so no surprises. We're glad we brought firewood, as that helped warm up the area for the entire night. Quiet and secluded, had everything we could've hoped for in a cabin. We snowboarded at nearby Elk Mountain (20 min drive), and enjoyed a couple places to dine on Main St. in Honesdale, PA. Sleeps 6 people comfortably, and having the second...
