"The Yeatman was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The team was great. It was our first time traveling with two kids under 3, and our room had two cots ready, with slippers, Yeatman teddy bears, shampoo and soap for kids, etc. For us, there was a small bottle of LBV port, chocolate truffles and Pasteis de Nata - a nice touch! "Like the premier location, everything else about this hotel is first-class, from the friendly and helpful staff to the sumptuous breakfast, comfortable and spacious remodeled rooms (ours had a view over the Duoro) and multiple little lounge areas. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

"Unique entrance at area taxis cannot enter (but they can drop you at the top of the hill very near by). Breakfast was exceptional with all the choices. Room was quiet and clean. Beautiful tapestries and old shoes as decorations in our room. Nice corner cushioned nook to rest on. Two twin beds. Excellent place. Would return. "

"It was my 1st time in Portogallo, I chose Porto, specifically the Douro River, because it seemed low key & like a cool place.... it was! The only 2 negatives were the pillows, they were down & there were no others in the room. I didn't see a note in the room saying they were available upon request, that it made sleep difficult. I caught an intestinal virus after my 1st meal, having nothing to do with the hotel of course. The food at the restaurants, i only had 2 meals, was tasty but portions...

"Wonderful service at the front desk! The location is good... except it's on a BUSY / LOUD street next to a very loud tunnel. Beware if your room faces the street... bring a sound machine. Also... not a plush or comfortable mattress. Finally... as expected for Europe... my room was extremely small and tight... though the shower was decent sized. Overall... good location, GREAT service... but beware of the "noise"!"

"What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. "Great hotel located a block from the Bolsa museum and 2 blocks from the river front. There are plentiful restaurants and crossing the river there are many port( fortified wine) companies where you can do tours and tastings. On that side of the river there is a big warehouse style place with about 20 different food options and wine bars. We had fun!!!"

"The property was a 7 min walk to Ribiera Square with lots of restaurants, music, shopping, boats. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of foods. Uber is the cheapest form of transportation to and from the airport. And the staff was pleasant and professional. With a nice touch of pastries and water at the front desk. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
