"This is a beautiful hotel, with charming, attentive staff. The room ( river facing with balcony)was very clean, extremely comfortable beds with a turn down service in the evening. The bathroom was large, great shower and Jo Malone toiletries. Service in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, every time. "The hotel is located within easy walking access to restaurants and stores. I stayed for three weeks and it suited my needs. Rooms are small, but adequately equipped. There was no coffee maker in my room until two days before checkout when one showed up unrequested, which I found odd. The buffet breakfast is over-priced for what is available around the area. "Easily accessible from the port houses in Villa de Gaia, this beautiful small hotel provides a calm and quiet escape from the tourists. A lovely courtyard and self serve bar are a great addition. There is a restaurant on property but I didn’t use it. Staff are very welcoming and helpful; they will hold onto your luggage. "

"Property had an industrial boutique feel. Staff were lovely, room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great! Quirky decor and excellent bathroom. Had a very early checkout so got a shock with cold shower. Rang reception and they switched on the hot water. Would have been good to have known to request this in advance. Breakfast was fresh & plentiful."

"Really nice hotel in a good position for exploring the city. The room was good but as in many hotels the lighting was poor. It needed mirror and a desk with good lighting. Breakfast was good but the area was not big enough for the number of guests. The staff were lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable. "

"We are very pleased with our stay in this aparto hotel, excellent hospitality and customer service. Spacious studio with a terrace and a very nice city view. They pay attention to details.
