"Great Hotel in an excellent location. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Good range of breakfast choice. Swimming pool and spa facilities are good, although the swimming lessons being held are a little inconvenient. Would definitely visit again."

"Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Lakes Hotel and Spa for one night for his Birthday. It is everything we could’ve asked for. The staff were so lovely and the location was amazing. "A great hotel in a prime location . Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and refreshingly full service no making tea and toast. Parking could be a little challenging at times but it also has some free access to 13amp plugs to charge your car. We had a balcony onto a lovely waterfall but smoking is allowed . Would definitely stay again if in the area. Ambleside is great for vegetarian / vegan."
