"We were a group of 7 adults and had a nice weekend stay. The house was clean and well furnished and the outdoor area is great. When I contacted the host with questions a few days before our stay they got back to me quickly. The only negatives were: a few of the items they said were included in the listing were actually not (firewood, paper towel, no hand soap in the kitchen); the bathroom in the primary bedroom has a jetted tub but only a handheld attachment for showers (it is not mounted) which...

"The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. "We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated!
